The Company's investment objective is to generate risk-adjusted returns for its stockholders over the long-term, primarily through dividends, and to preserve its capital base through business cycles. The Company is focused on originating senior commercial mortgage loans backed by different types of commercial real estate properties. The Company typically provides intermediate-term bridge or transitional financing for a variety of purposes, including acquisitions, recapitalizations, refinancing and a range of business plans, including lease-up, renovation, repositioning and repurposing of the property. The Company is externally managed by Pine River Capital Management L.P.
